Evangelism for the Fainthearted Floyd Schneider had just moved to Austria and wanted to lead people to Christ. But he knew very little of the German language. So he invited a couple non-Christian students to a simple Bible study where the they read the Bible with minimal discussion. Floyd didn't try to coerce them into believing. After the study ended for summer vacation, one of the students called and mentioned, "Oh, by the way, we've accepted the Lord." Floyd began another study with a couple of other students. Later one of them also mentioned that they had become Christians. Three churches now exist in Austria as a result of these simple Bible studies. Floyd Schneider is an instructor of cross-cultural communication at Emmaus Bible College in Dubuque, Iowa. The 2000 Annual Iowa-Nebraska Men's Retreat at Willowbrook Bible Camp in Des Moines, Nov. 3 and 4.
